HOT FOOT RIDDIM HEATS UP WITH NEW DANCE MOVE

Following the success of the Shellaz Riddim released in 2016, with hits like RDX “LOL” & Kalado “Respect Pon Mi Name”. Kingston based record label Apartment 19 Music is already seeing excellent feedback from the new juggling project ‘Hot Foot’ which originated from a single by Dancehall Duo RDX.

After RDX did the Hot Foot song many artistes heard the beat and loved it and wanted to be a part of the juggling. But we had to ensure we got the balance right as it relates to the talent and song themes” Apartment 19 Music executive Carlton Williams (Renigade of RDX) shared

The Riddim features singles from I-Octane, Spice, RDX, Raytid, Prado, new Apartment 19 artiste Point Zero and vocals from popular selector Ikel Marvelus. In addition to the star power on the project, the riddim has seen increased popularity due to the success of the dance created by popular male dancer Cojo Hotfoot creator of the MVP and ‘We Nuh See Them’ Dance moves.

The streets a talk seh Hot Foot a bun up road, the dance a kick off overseas as well as in Jamaica and even international dancers here on vacation are learning the step to take back home with them to Russia, Germany, Poland and other countries so it’s a good look’ Apartment 19 Music executive Andre Bedward (Delomar of RDX) shared

Currently, Apartment 19 is putting the finishing touches on the mixtape for a new ‘Badbwoy’ artiste called Point Zero from Waterhouse in Kingston. When RDX was introduced to the artiste and his raw talent by members of their Shella Posse Team they immediately voiced him on the Shellaz Riddim. His single ‘Nuh Borrow’ on the Hot Foot Riddim is currently creating waves in the Dancehall arena.

Already the Hot Foot Riddim has a music video for Prado’s ‘Rotten Rich’ single and other artistes will be releasing videos for their singles shortly. The project is now available for digital purchase on platforms like ITunes and is distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution.
