Dufton Shepherd excited about sold out show this weekend
Comedian Dufton ‘Duffy’ Shepherd Is elated by the response to the first staging of his Slightly Unhinged stand-up comedy showcase that happens this Sunday in Kingston.
The event, originally slated for one showcase at 8pm at the Phoenix Theatre Haining Road, has now been extended to include an early show at 5pm as the 8pm show is completely sold out.
Shepherd believes this is testament to the power of stand-up comedy and his own growth as a strong act.
“I expected that there would be support for the event as I’m celebrating 10 years in comedy but I’m overwhelmed that the tickets went that fast and am excited to perform twice for my fans this Sunday, the anticipation for this event shows me that stand-up comedy has power,” Dufton shared
The event will see Shepherd perform for the first time in a full stand up showcase, he is pulling out all stops to make this a memorable showcase.
‘It’s going to be s full experience come Sunday, and we do have a few surprises planned so both shows will be exciting,” Shepherd added
Dufton Shepherd’s ‘Slightly Unhinged’ 10 Year Challenge happens on Sunday March 31st starting at 8:oo pm, it also features comedic sets from Christopher ‘The Entertainer’ Larmond and Diego ‘The Cross Eyed Villain’ and will be hosted by Dahlia Harris. The show has major support from corporate sponsors including; Red Stripe, CB Foods, Carimed, Johnny LIVE Production and others.
