Sasco adds new flavour to Duane Stephenson’s “Play That Song”
Popular Jamaican International reggae artiste Duane Stephenson, has added new flavour to his single ‘Play That Song’ that was originally released last year. The singer has now remixed the project with talented Dancehall lyricist, Agent Sasco.
The original ‘Play That Song’ single produced by Frenchie from Maximum Sound, is the first single from Duane’s 5th studio album ‘Exile To Dreadites’ originally set for release last year. The album release was however delayed and is now set to be officially released in a matter of weeks.
“I wanted to refresh the song since it was already released over a year ago and did well on the international Reggae scene. Since the album is now ready to be officially released I wanted to give the song a new feel and adding Sasco to it was an easy choice and process. Great vibe, great synergy and a great artiste,’ Duane explained
Since it’s release last year ‘Play That Song’ climbed the British Reggae Charts peaking at number 9 and was well accepted by the masses worldwide, Duane is intent on making the remix just as loved or even more so, especially with visuals now released for the project.
“’Play That Song’ is the definition of good music to listen to, a real groovy song and can be enjoyed by all ages. The remix is even greater, we just want to have fun with reggae music, good clean fun for all occasions,” Duane added
The visuals depict just that as well, fun groovy music with people coming together positively. These visuals can now be viewed on Duane Stephenson Vevo channel.@duanestephensonreggae. Duane is also preparing for his ‘Exile To Dreadites’ Tour this May, to coincide with the release of the album. He will also be performing at the coveted Summerjam Festival in Germany this August.
