Toronto based label FLO1 Music committed to Dancehall and Reggae Music
Dynamic Toronto based label Flo1 Music is set to make an impact in the Dancehall space with a bevy of new releases this year. The label, which also signed three young Jamaican born talents, Shawn D Gedion, Alapap and Nessley Don last year, has been producing Reggae, Dancehall, Afrobeat and EDM beats for more than a year.
Flo1 sees fusing beats as the way forward for Jamaican music while keeping some major elements rich in the overall production. The tracks that are voiced on the projects also play a role in making the productions great.
“I think a lot of people will connect with the songs we release on the Flo1 Music label. These songs relate to everyday struggles in life, some are about love, some relationships problem and some motivational,.” CEO of the label, Bobby Fortella shared
Already the label has released two riddim projects; the sober Red Zone Riddim featuring; Eesah, Alapap, Nessley Don, Dee Dre, Wayne Marshall, Shawn D Gedion and Lutan Fyah and the hardcore DeadShot Riddim featuring;.Alapap, Lanz, Eesah, Ras Ash1st and Kacique. There is also a single called ‘Pain’ released for Flo1 signed St Catherine based artiste Alapap. The projects will also benefit from visuals to be released in a matter of days.
“We are a visual society so we intend to only give you good audio of our productions but videos too, we have so much quality material because we take the time to make the music flow properly, Flo1 Music is here to stay,” Fortella added
