Twani drops Phenomenal EP this weekend
The long awaited Phenomenal EP for Dancehall recording star Twani is set for official digital release this Saturday.
The 8 track project is the first compilation for the trending artiste and has been in the works since the beginning of the year. Twani admits that even though the project has been hard work he actually enjoyed putting the Phenomenal EP together for music lovers worldwide.
“This EP has definitely kept me busy and is a labour of love, but I think it was worth all the effort. I really wanted to show fans my versatility especially when I’ve been underestimated in this industry sometimes, this is why the EP is called Phenomenal,” Twani shared
The artiste, who has morphed from a popular comedian and social media star to a trending and billable artiste over the last two years with his breakout hit Honda; only sees his musical stock rising with the Phenomenal EP.
The project includes collaborations with trending artiste Jahvillani, billboard charting superstar Serani and popular Canadian rapper Big Lean. Already one track off the project called ‘Buddy’/ ‘Money’ has been getting great reviews on YouTube and Spotify. Another single called Cologne will benefit from a video release this weekend with the full audio project, the single is one of Twani’s favorites as well.
“All the songs on the Phenomenal EP are catchy for sure especially with the chorus just like Honda, with Cologne it’s definitely the topical element that will connect with those who wear cologne, like specific cologne brands or just like smelling good,” Twani added
Producers on the project include: Raynstorm Music from Nigeria, Island Wav and Daino Music. The Phenomenal EP is Executively Produced by Twani’s own imprint Roolyfe.
